I think you mean based on a minecraft mod, rather than ported from a minecraft mod.

Do you use any resources from that mod?

If you're going to be so picky, I'll make a texture pack for that. In fact, I created the original mod that was made for Minecraft. The textures used for the Minetest version are adapted to fit Minetest itself.

calm yourself man. I made a minecraft mod before but I still am in minecraft. It just means that general3214 plays both games.

LOL. You're too funny, Pilz--I mean Adam. I've come to mod Minetest because a lot of the mods are too... technical. I want to introduce some of the fun Minecraft mods to Minetest, but Useless Mod isn't exactly one of them. Currently, I'm working on a new mod called WeaponMod based on Balkon's WeaponMod from Minecraft.

You are! If this works then i love you in a none loving way. Also i agree Minetest is very caught up in mods that do things instead of mods that adds nice decoration blocks to add. Minetest definitly needs more decorations. Though i cant wait for the cannon and the crossbow. Good Luck!

EDIT:
For the next update, does anyone want to make all 60 textures for the wool tools? XD

LOL, this mod is hilarious.

Since this mod registers many items, I’ve wrote a simple TRM for treasurer for it (see forum post for more infos). The goal of TRMs is to offer broad range of treasures the stuff found in spawned treasures can vary from junk to crown jewels. It is good to have some stuff in the junk range. :-)

There still needs to be a TSM which spawns treasures in the junk range, though … :-/
So this TRM is not play-tested. But at least the treasures are registered successfully, so it should technically work.

Has anyone an idea how to spawn junk items (like useless tools)? Treasure chests may not the best idea for this …

Edit: trm_useless_mod 0.1 is for useless_mod release 5.

Bear Grylls has adventures and he collects resources, and uses them. This mod reminds me of him, so yeh. xD

These tools, even if they are not used, make for some nice decorations thanks to Zeg9's display mod.
