I wanted to create map with jungles and dungeons. I add , v6_jungles, dungeons in mg_flags string in minetest.conf file (it turned mg_flags = trees, caves, v6_biome_blend, v6_jungles, dungeons). After that I created a new map. I flew over it with enabled fast mode. There were jungles, but I couldn't find any dungeons. Is it ok, or it's something wrong with map generator? how can I make dungeons more frequent?

Я хотел создать карту с джунглями и темницами. В minetest.conf в строке mg_flags я дописал , v6_jungles, dungeons (получилось mg_flags = trees, caves, v6_biome_blend, v6_jungles, dungeons). После этого я создал новую карту. В ней были джунгли, но я не нашел ни одной темницы. Я летал над миром со включенным быстрым режимом, но так и не нашел ни одного замшелого булыжника. Нормально ли это, или это баг генератора карт? Как сделать темницы более частыми?

Dungeons are quite rare. You can try disabling caves and fly arround underground so you can see them better (to check if it works at all).

There is no setting for that. You would need to modify the core code.

Are there plans to allow a person to modify this in the future? That would be really neat if we had a way to adjust how often dungeons appeared and a way to adjust how large they are on average :).

It would be cool if there were ruins (buildings above ground in jungles made mostly of mossy cobble and with vines on them.)

Sometimes dungeons spawn above ground.

I don't know jeja's map, but when I disabled caves I found one above ground. I think, dungeons are more frequent if caves are disabled.

Sometimes caves go through dungeons so, well, you're quite right. Also, you can of course find them more easily.
I made a few (a lot of?) mods for minetest: here is a list.
See also the MT-Faithful texture pack (work in progress).

I've made 2 maps: with caves and dungeons and with dungeons only. In second map dungeons were A BIT rarer than caves in first map, but in first map I couldn't find any dungeon.
