It is exactly as CuriousNoob suspected, the player file gotten corrupted. Zero bytes in fact, as if it got opened for writing, and then nothing was written. What I started doing is backing up the worlds/world/players/* (and other files) so that when this happens, I can at least get a fairly recent w...

I like to do it this way: 1. Creative mode turned off, i.e. creative_mode = false in server's config file 2. I'm logged in as a user with server privileges, i.e. you have the /grant and /revoke privileges 3. Do /grant myusername creative, press enter, it shows that you now have the creative privileg...
