I've never worked with normalmaps. What actually are they?

If they are enabled, the surface of nodes can look 3d. But I think, this isn't good to use here, so just forget it. >_<

[!!NEED HELP!!!] can somebody help me with the katching? Make a ball entity and make it (and the pokemons) collide with entities. Then check on_step of the ball if the velocity is {x=0,y=0,z=0}, if so, get objects inside radius and you'll get the pokemon. Save the pokemon stats and co. in item meta...

Is there anything us players can do to help with further development of this mod? Make a PR? I'd help ;). Players aren't usually skilled in coding, if you hadn't noticed. xD You can not only make PRs for code but also for styling things like textures, nodeboxes, models, sounds, documentation and co.

This mod is so cool! The crystal reminds me to the crystals in Stargate. Also its models are very nice, what license do they have?
