Just make a modpack folder for your subgame specific/experimental mods inside the common mods dir.
Minetest allows for the selection of individual mods within a modpack
so long as the subgame doesn't have a duplicate of the mod there should be no problem.

Well I use mobs_redo for my survival worlds, but this is what I want for creative.
Just cute animals grazing and milling about.
I hope you can work in animal sounds.

Yes, I had tried to nerf the API for my testing.
Re download the mod, the unedited API file has been reinstated :)

I also tweaked the textures and nodeboxes of all the animals except for the pig
still working on him.

Thanks to Orwell, I got the monochrome sound effects working right.

@Orwell: Turns out it was just conflicting with something else in the mod its supposed to be apart of, when I test it by itself as a separate mod, it works as expected. I still added "on_construct" and "on_destruct" like you suggested. Without it, the sounds still play after the ...

That's exactly how I wanted to do it, Twoelk, with the hollowed out cave area, but the way node boxes and textures work put a nix to those plans quick. I put all my texture thru OptiPNG and haven't had any PNG errors since.
The visuals don't seem to have suffered any that I can tell.
Took less than a minute for all default Minetest Game images.

oooo yey but you might want to put a limit on the amount of honeycombs you can get at one time I got over 500 honeycombs from one hive I find that a touch excessive It maxes at 16, until you remove it from the hive. I can feel the pain on my computer...looks heavy Yeah I haven't built any structures with them and wouldn't advise anyone to, they are just novelty. its a similar mod but fits a bit better the 16px look.
It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that Prestibags has though.

everamzah removed his mods from github but his first version of backpacks v1.0
