I've also had this issue, after restarting my server it seems to have fixed it. However, when ever I issue the command "/clearobjects" players cant see me or see me move, and I can see other players but not see them move. So I'm guessing its a problem with the /clearobjects command. i play fine on ...

could you make a few different stair blocks, plz plz plz !!!! they are soooo helpful in these games for decorating. maybe wood, stone,cobblestone, and brick?

Well I noticed earlier when I went on my own server without build I couldn't be seen by other players. My server is setup with default privs of shout only. I remarked to my friend that I was like a ghost lol.
I said the same thing i dont think we can die eather!!
