Re: Minetest 0.4.13

I'm back on Minetest. Minetest is better than Minecraft. Minecraft had never crashed before on Windows 10 while Minetest works perfectly. Minecraft became a crap. But not now for a private server and I prefer to wait a little more for this. I want to try this version in solo but in multiplayer not f...

Re: Bugs with the nether: mining ores & buggy mobs

I tried mining with a diamond pickaxe but nothing. It's hard to kill mobs in the nether because of these bugs but the game don't crash. The game needs a auto free memory. Can I play with DirectX 9 and 10.1 or only with OpenGL?

Bugs with the nether: mining ores & buggy mobs

Hi there, there are many bugs with the nether. Mining ores is almost impossible and the mobs are very buggy in the nether. Nothing is indicated in the debug.txt. I had the Stampy game (Morn76's subgame). I've spotted no bugs in the overworld but Minetest becomes very laggy after 90 minutes of gamepl...

Re: Installing mods is too complicated for me

Minetest is not yet stable enough to support the nether. The developpers have not finished to stabilize Minetest and the nether. Developing a game takes time.

Re: Installing mods is too complicated for me

I can't continue with Minetest anymore cuz it's too bugguy and much more bugguy with the nether and my server is canceled because of that. I have no choice to go back in Minecraft but in single player only cuz the skin won't change.

Re: Installing mods is too complicated for me

You can edit mods\default\mapgen.lua if you want to make them more common (search for "stone_with_diamond"). Changes will only affect newly generated chunks though. How I can do that? OK. Do you want to play with someone on the same LAN or is the other player on the Internet somewhere? In...

Re: Installing mods is too complicated for me

I just need my IP address and port 30000 or I need one more thing? I have 3 maps to play with my girlfriend and the 4th map is Conquistadors (sequel of Crusoe).

The map where I play is village, plains, desert, desert and desert for the moment. Before going into the jungle, I have to do sampling.

Re: Installing mods is too complicated for me

Or maybe a wall like the wall of China and even a security Obsidian gate. I have some ideas. Spider spawns only in night, right? Mobs don't burn in daylight. I started to farm mobs.

For my server I may need something? On my server, can I change the map when we finished a map?

Re: Installing mods is too complicated for me

In Minetest, you need a obsidian house otherwise the creepers can destroy it. I want to make a private server but I have some questions.

Hitbox needs to be fixed

Hi there,

the hitbox needs to be fixed. When you hit a mob or something takes no damage and you have to be very precise.

Thanks in advance.
