I have a server on my desktop which doesn't crash(unless for obvious reasons) but when I connect to the server using the client and localhost:30000 it connects then crashes randomly however this only happens when there are other players on the server. The players are usually close to me and there is...

Re: Temperature.

sounds cool maybe ice could have a ABM for if you walk on it for too long or maybe when you lose health from falling off stuff it hurts 20% more at night than at day also you could add seasons but snow could not be in the default game because it would take up to much CPU, maybe we could work on thi...

Re: Ah come on, minecarts.

again you should make a poll and minecarts would be hard to add as you need to move an entity with the player smoothly but there loads of mods, I suggest using mesecon

Re: Sign-like Chests, Labeled Chests

I think it would be a very useful feature if players could add custom labels to their chests and locked chests to make identifying the contents and organizing the chests a bit easier. So instead of constantly clicking on the chests to see their contents, the player could mouse-over them and see the...

Re: Apple trees with their own wood?

I think minetest should be uniqe so yeah, apple trees :-)
also apple is a hardwood so if this really does get added then maybe it could be better than normal wood for trees

Instead of forking MineTest why not aid in the development and help make this a better game... Have a settings menu that will allow you to tweak the game by adding/removing ingame features and maybe think about including some of the most used mods in the actual game itself... +1 minetest used to ha...
