There's mention about protection, how to know if the place is actually protected? Craft a protection block or logo and right click it on the ground. The rules mention no recording, but what about screenshots? You can't record video and upload to the internet but this forum has hundreds to thousands...

It does not prevent you to use colored glass blocks in a cblocks mod even more bug. For me the problem with transparent protector logo is not serious. Not a bug, just a missing feature in minetest. It could easily sort map blocks near to far and draw opaque geometry, then sort them far to near and ...

I am glad to hear, that it's not possible to get passwords that easy. It is very easy to get passwords for players who use short/weak passwords. Anyone who uses a long password with some numbers and punctuation has nothing to worry about. And something as simple as "...---...---...---..."...

Just looked at the source and it doesn't handle the above case. The yaw flipping code could also be simplified. The pitch could also be inverted to add a little extra annoyance, or put it inside the if statement with setpos. if protector.flip and player then -- yaw + 180° local yaw = player:get_look...

how does it work against someone standing on a roof and digging down? We have a feature that stops new players from joining the server as well as kicking limited players off the server when the try to join... This can stop attacks but in the process limits the number of players on server... I am adding a new admin command to open/close these virtual borders at will. ...

I was very paranoid seeing all those old accounts on spamming non-stop. SRP looks good. SRP doesn't prevent a player from using a weak password that can easily be guessed. Players might use better passwords if minetest had a means of storing them and applied some basic restrictions such as password...

You must login to the server, which requires the old password. Then press ESC and select change password in the menu.

My password is now pretty much random and unable to be hacked. Pain to type it in, but it is what it is. Thanks for the reminder, I was using a typable password but just changed it to something very long and random. I've been using this script to launch minetest so long random passwords don't matte...

Tenplus1 why you not added script from Auouymous? You may write script wich will restart server every 3 hours (with "killall -9 minetestserver" or "killall -s KILL minetestserver") if you don't want use Auouymous's script. That is a VERY BAD idea. It would cause rollbacks and in...
