Is it going to get the shift click option now that the default game has it? Because as of right now shift click is not working with unified inventory.

Ok was on my phone earlier was a little hard to type lol.

Anyway I am trying to use a 24bit greyscale image for the grass_top and all tree leaves at one time they worked, no they are just showing as grey in game as well.

I read around searched google, I just can't seem to get the greyscale textures to work. I had them working once but Idk how. any help would be great. Also if this is in the section I apologize feel to free to move it.

do all that before I posted one I don't get a make link option and the terminal way didn't work either.

Fixed it just installed the run in place instead of global.

Soudon, please don't use adf.ly, the only thing that you will acomplish is to anoy people. Also, it is spam (somehow), and it could be reported and there is a chance that you will get banned. I want to unhide the folder so I can keep on my desktop and use it from there. Don't like the hassle of opening the home folder to get to it. I enabled show hidden everywhere but when I move it to the desktop I still have to have a folder window open to see it there.

Yea it was the only option however i fixed the issue. This clearly shows that a shader doesn't work how it should. Why? Well, there are only OpenGL shaders yet, so swiching the render just disables a specific part in the engine code that would cause this problem. Yea it fixed my problem with the gr...

solved the issue at least for me it worked. All I did was open the minetest.conf and add

video_driver = direct3d9

Holy crap I got it. was missing one freaking line in the .conf you didnt have it either so yours must default do it. But I added video_driver = direct3d9 and problem solved. well something in your code helped I re added mine removing yours and then typing in the video driver thing and now one it won...

any update on a fix for this? below is a screen of my character holding a diamond sword and if I run minetest 0.4.10 the same image looks perfectly fine. http://i.imgur.com/fqOnpKW.png also if i go to default/tools.lua and add wield_scale = {x=1,y=1.7,z=0}, by making the Z=0 one it is now paper thin...

@kaddmy add this line to all your spears, yes the weapon looks paper thin but with my texture it gets all fuzzy/blurry if z= anything but 0. In a sense really thats what im doing lol. Major changes were mobs redo i used simple mobs got textures to work with that easier than the redo otherwise its all cosmetic

Once I am done with setting textures and fine tune the spawn rates of mobs and their HP, I was going to release it as a WIP subgame called pixture+ as long as you don't mind me calling it that. If you would rather I'll name it something else.

Thanks like I said all I did was rename a file and drag n drop. I am terrible at making my own textures I'm just not that great with photo editing software to make them they always end up looking to "solid" color wise. But I am pretty good at getting most currently existing textures to work.

I've been porting a few of SphaxPureBD for Minecraft armors over to Minetest this is the one I used for Minetests Carbon Steel Armor. Oh and that would be the sand monster from Pilzadams simple mobs with a new x256 texture lol.

Ok as I had stated before I use the character.x file to get my textures to work with the mobs now I have one problem the animation that the character has the mob does not use. How can I make the mob have the same animation as my character?

I think i'll just keep spears for now, although the crafting is messy right now. The crafting is too bad I don't think had to look what the recipes were but after that it was pretty simple just a matter of getting used to that setup, as in minecraft it is different just something to get used to was...
