I should have set this up years ago. But it's no tale of woe.
Whether the temperature is high or low, regardless of cold winds blow,
away we go like Edgar Allan Poe, on now with the show. BTW rhymes are welcome.
Ok was on my phone earlier was a little hard to type lol.
Anyway I am trying to use a 24bit greyscale image for the grass_top and all tree leaves at one time they worked, no they are just showing as grey in game as well.
I read around searched google, I just can't seem to get the greyscale textures to work. I had them working once but Idk how. any help would be great. Also if this is in the section I apologize feel to free to move it.
Updated textures x128 less noisy and a few new ones. Make sure to read the read me file before playing. I've taken the link down as I discovered a few errors in the naming of a few textures. In the process of correcting it once I do I will upload the new version. Which has a lot of textures added to...
Soudon, please don't use adf.ly, the only thing that you will acomplish is to anoy people. Also, it is spam (somehow), and it could be reported and there is a chance that you will get banned. EDIT: here is the direct link, why would you wait 5 seconds. https://www.dropbox.com/s/d8ho5q9auacvqdi/Mine...
no worries I apologize for it I will give straight links from now on and I'll delete that one and re up to my mediafire account. PS yea like I said direct3d worked for visuals except in the hotbar/inventory was on windows 10 now I'm dual booting that with linux lxle and am using minetest with opengl...
I want to unhide the folder so I can keep on my desktop and use it from there. Don't like the hassle of opening the home folder to get to it. I enabled show hidden everywhere but when I move it to the desktop I still have to have a folder window open to see it there.
Yea it was the only option however i fixed the issue. This clearly shows that a shader doesn't work how it should. Why? Well, there are only OpenGL shaders yet, so swiching the render just disables a specific part in the engine code that would cause this problem. Yea it fixed my problem with the gr...
Holy crap I got it. was missing one freaking line in the .conf you didnt have it either so yours must default do it. But I added video_driver = direct3d9 and problem solved. well something in your code helped I re added mine removing yours and then typing in the video driver thing and now one it won...
any update on a fix for this? below is a screen of my character holding a diamond sword and if I run minetest 0.4.10 the same image looks perfectly fine. http://i.imgur.com/fqOnpKW.png also if i go to default/tools.lua and add wield_scale = {x=1,y=1.7,z=0}, by making the Z=0 one it is now paper thin...
I think the fuzziness is a problem with your computer, I don't have the same problem, see the screenshots in the original post. Is this it? https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10862 That is my exact issue and I'm trying the fixes now. Tried all the fixes no luck, downloaded minetest ...
@kaddmy add this line to all your spears, yes the weapon looks paper thin but with my texture it gets all fuzzy/blurry if z= anything but 0. The pictures use the sword as an example however it does with which ever tool I add a texture too. below are pictures showing the difference with the wield sca...
kaadmy wrote:All right, I don't mind you calling it something like Pixture+. Maybe you could make a texturepack for Pixture instead?
In a sense really thats what im doing lol. Major changes were mobs redo i used simple mobs got textures to work with that easier than the redo otherwise its all cosmetic
Once I am done with setting textures and fine tune the spawn rates of mobs and their HP, I was going to release it as a WIP subgame called pixture+ as long as you don't mind me calling it that. If you would rather I'll name it something else.
Thanks like I said all I did was rename a file and drag n drop. I am terrible at making my own textures I'm just not that great with photo editing software to make them they always end up looking to "solid" color wise. But I am pretty good at getting most currently existing textures to work.
I've been porting a few of SphaxPureBD for Minecraft armors over to Minetest this is the one I used for Minetests Carbon Steel Armor. Oh and that would be the sand monster from Pilzadams simple mobs with a new x256 texture lol.
Ok as I had stated before I use the character.x file to get my textures to work with the mobs now I have one problem the animation that the character has the mob does not use. How can I make the mob have the same animation as my character?
Been working on the armors now I've been using sphax pure BD for MC for textures so I can't give you the files but I am going to try my hand at armor textures and if they are worth anything I'll release it. but here is an example of what I've done with Sphax http://i.imgur.com/q8PgDm2.png?1
Also if you want to simplify your recipes an easier method but still using fiber would be and I'm going to use the wooden pick as an example [...] I'll do that, see if it makes it intuitive to craft. I personally like the current recipe. I think they don't have to be 'simplified' because you can ch...
I meant model but I figured out the easy way underneath each sword below the description line I put wield_scale = {x=1,y=3,z=2}, solved the dagger look. Also if you want to simplify your recipes an easier method but still using fiber would be and I'm going to use the wooden pick as an example but pl...
I think i'll just keep spears for now, although the crafting is messy right now. The crafting is too bad I don't think had to look what the recipes were but after that it was pretty simple just a matter of getting used to that setup, as in minecraft it is different just something to get used to was...
