does it require the api to run I couldnt find a clear answer on that it technically works without it right now just won't spawn any mobs. But I only mobs_monster and mobs_animals, I didn't download the mobs redo I'll try with it quick but idk how that would change much.

so every mob in the mobs_monster pack does not work I keep getting mobs:name here not defined for all of them. Solved that problem by creating a new world now I have a new issue only non hostile mobs are spawning I have both animals and monsters but only animals spawn. Changed light levels and alot ...

I do not like mobs redo so much since they use b3d files which I can't edit, so with that said I am again having the issue of them clipping through the ground I just can't remember how I fixed it before. The z axis is fine that is not the problem I just don't know how I did it.

Something running in the background (AV, Windows update, etc)? No nothing in the background but now magically its working just fine, all I did was delete everything minetest (I was annoyed lol). Now re downloaded and its fine I changed leaves to simple and opaque still just fine, so idk but its fix...

Maybe you mean game stuttering? Can you press F5 few times to turn on graphs, wait until lag and make few screenshots. I will do that however I have the graphs up and FPS is the only thing to drop, I will take screenshots and post them in a little At work so might be a few hours, also whoever said ...

Shaders, smooth lighting, particles, clouds all off still lags but there's a little improvement, now it's laggy when I turn and pretty solid when going one direction.

try adjusting your view range with +/- on numpad. Ok first I had already set the view distance in the .conf file to 30, I did however toy with it in game with the +/- as you suggested still it drops frames while moving around I just don't get it. I had a PC with a 512MB graphics card played it much...

My game lags terribly

Ok first off my PC Specs are i5-5200U (says quad core really has 2) Nvidia GeForce 940M 2GB VRAM 8GB RAM 1 TB HDD I've played with FPS wanted and FPS Max but I still get and this is a wide range but 30-60, now 30 to 40 while running around and a solid 60 while in the same area doing mining/building....

I agree and if I was any good with coding I would add that in. I'm just copying code from this and pasting it then changing the values to suit the new weapons I'm adding. On another note the mod firearms has right click to bring up a scope all it does is change the hud the most of it is blacked out ...

I've added onto this mod just by adding so far two new guns and a firing sound for each. Ok small issue just not sure how to fix it. I noticed that the mobs are able to attk me through the walls of my house. If I stand in the corner doing something they can attk and hit me.

If you know how to fix it let me know I'm ok with editing the lua I just need to know what to change.
