Ok So for windows: 1. Do i extract a texture pack or keep it in the zip? 2. Does it go here --> textures/ all? always extract for stuff dealing with minetest unless its already extracted lol yea that should be the place to put them...make sure you copy/paste the textures not the folders as it wont ...

yea some of the more experienced game modders...dont really know all of them but DeathDealer is one...Sfan5 is a moderater of the forum but i dont know if he writes game code and some others (im bad at remebering names :l) you just have to wait till someone responds to this thread and/or contact the...

in the latest stable (0.3) there is because someone gave me a firefly once...as i said i never found one before but i have had one before :p

no clue...minetest isnt supposed to be this slow...its fast in earlier versions but these new versions are really slow/laggy and/or ever time i try to put a block down there is a 10-20 second delay and sometimes it dosnt even register the block placing....very frustrating :l as to how you can make i...

water (like land) is a node....each water node will expand to a certain limit (unless it has nothing stopping it under it) and will do so unless you remove the water node....so building a structure underwater you have to destryo every single water node (which isnt fun of course) to have no more wate...

yea but that wouldnt be good for people in the hunger games who have gone underground lets say only 10-15 blocks...all you have to do is walk near them and you see there name :p

lol or an evil knight...i dont really much feel like fighting an evil wizard...unless we have some long range weapon added in-game and the wizard isnt like a dm who personally hates characters and will destroy every single block you place down before you can kill the sucker xD

not sure but as far as i can tell map seeds are normally very long and complicated (but then again i have no clue how to work with the .conf file or hardly any files for that matter xD) if your wanting a specific map (alot of oceans,or land, or high plateus) then you need to either get very very luc...

i think if minecraft wouldnt have been there we still would be heading in this direction...i mean food...hunger...etc :P

there is some mod (out or under progress i dont know which) that generates the land to be completly flat grass

other then that idk...i dont know how to write mods or anything :p

hmmm...i got on today and it said the exact same time as yesterday when i changed to atlantic time ( 7:40:00 roughly) so i logged out and back in a it says the time right now is 16:42:21
if this is how it is then that means the server is open for me roughly around 4am give or take an hour ;o

interesting...but i dont see it happening unless they ever put in some type of money system (NOT A MOD!!!) in the game...if that happens then this could be added on top of that....the only thing i dont like about this is the automatic food...why even make a food system if you dont use it? and for ra...

i definetly wouldnt want this...but this is going to be a mod and with as many mods that are not added to the game i doubt this one would so i see no harm in letting him request it and someone make it for him ^^

kk i downloaded and stuff...how do i join your group on hamachi? the thing shows "create a new network" and "Join an existing network" i tried the existing one but it says i need a password and i dont even know if im doing the write thing xD
