That sounds like the 'finite water' mod for minecraft, which is VERY resource intense, and you can cause tsunamis by placing too much of the finite water which will flood the whole map ¬_¬

@Calinou Yup, and fullscreen is kind of a messy process on ubuntu 11.04, had to fiddle with settings before anything would work fullscreen, otherwise it'd crash the entire computer ¬_¬ then again that's probably due to my 11" netbook screen more than anything else

I do not Advise anyone using any of the Other Forks other Than erlehmann's Master Fork. Consider the other Forks as 'Possibly outdated' and not Stable nor compatible with current servers. That's the problem in my opinion, any user coming onto the site will just download the 'old' release, when ther...

Aah nice one. i'll try get all the cpp files into a project in code::blocks and take a look :) And yeah, Manic Digger uses a similar structure, and everybody knows what they're doing, anyone can make and upload patches, and at the end we just decide what to/not to add, or tell people to improve they...

A few questions

Hey guys, I have a few questions, (don't worry i'm not some noob in the wrong category :P ) 1- Is this coded in C++? I've got the source on my computer, and they are .cpp and .h files, but I heard something about the 'irrlicht' wrapper somewhere on the forums. Is that a GUI utility? Or is it another...

Not nessasarily. You guys ever seen manic digger? They have minecart tracks, but no minecarts. When you stand on a track and press 'V' you basically clip to the track, and the arrowkeys speed/slow your movement along it. That could be easier to implement :)

It's 3449220947546540643 :)
Dunno how seed spawning works on this one, on minecraft you don't spawn at the same area most of the time, lemme know if you need co-ords

Well, I don't get 30fps, but certainly better performance than I do in Minecraft, AND with good detail and render settings (tiny on minecraft is fugly). Advent 4211 netbook, no fancy gfx card, (unless you want to count the integrated gfx from the cpu) Intel Atom processor (no idea of speed :L) and a...
