Maybe this is not strictly mod-related, but I have a few questions: - Is there a way to list available block names? Or, to see what's the name of the block under cursor? - How can I know where are X and Z axes oriented? I often don't know in what direction will stacking be done (except when going up...

Nice texture pack, I just tried it. And to show that I'm not ungrateful to the whole minetest community (and to you), I improved a bit sfan5's Mod Manager:

Hello sfan5, I downloaded 0.1.4 version of ModManager and altered it a bit. I replaced argv handling with argparse library calls and separated commands into their own functions. I cleaned the code a bit, defined some paths at the beginning, changed "/" with os.sep and added "available" command that ...

@VanessaE: I tried all that, paths are OK (coppied from command line), but textures are still original when I start minetest (I also tried several other texture packs that have only image files, same result). Cisoun texture pack 9 has 3 directories inside dev (recommended for 0.4 latter versions): -...

The fact that you have to install your mods in ~/.minetest/mods/minimal/ indicates that you dont use the minetest_game but the minimal development game. Try creating a new World and select "Minetest" and not "Minimal". Hmmm... I don't have any "minetest" game, only "minimal". I installed from Minet...

I'm using 0.5 version under Ubuntu and minetest 0.4.1. Setting amount parameter to negative value for any command doesn't have an effect - it is treated as positive (I get the same result for every command regardles if I put, for example, 1, +1, -1).

I'm using minetest 0.4.1 on Ubuntu, installed from official PPA. I tried to place new textures in ~/.minetest/textures/all, and I also tried to include full path in config file, but no matter what I do, I always get the default textures (log file says it only loads from /usr/share/minetest, there is...

First, I'm sorry if I'm asking something that's widely known. I'm using minetest 0.4.1 on Ubuntu, installed from official PPA. For the last hour I'm searching where to put this texture pack so it could work. The only way it works is to place it directly over original files in /usr/share/minetest/ (u...
