Re: Forum is now hosted by celeron55 (report issues here)

about the mmdb: I was never able to precisely find the reason for it breaking, but i am quite sure it was the transistion from the old forum software to the new one, and some leftover restraints, so the setup was broken, not the software. Do you still have a dump of the old tables or will it be a ne...

Re: Minetest Mod DataBase

I wanted to add some mods from the forum so people can use them via the store. But i am not the author of the mods, so i didn't do it. A differentiation between maintainer/uploader and author/developer should be introduced. Definitly planned: https://bitbucket.org/iqualfragile/mmdb/issue/30/mmdb-ed...

Re: Proposal of adding an objective: Technology

Why go up? The possibility of going down is completly underused in minetest. There could be many layers that are either split by one harder layer or each have a different ground material (the first two being earth and normal stone). You would then need to collect materials and craft things on each l...

Re: Issue Uploading to the MMDB

Status update: up until now mmdb used some kind handwritten hack to make use of the forum accounts, as there was no "glue" between the old forum software and the framework mmdb uses (django). For the new forum software such glue is available, which is really nice, because it means that the...

The detail page (example) has a lot of potential. ;) In other words: It's not perfect. So i thought a bit about it and made a mockup. Not much more than a wireframe so people don't get confused by theming or images (that why there is a "no image"-image). :) I resorted some things so the things that...

Now, thats a bug report! :D
But (afaik) this is no bug. Just but the cart on an up/down hill slope and jump in. In case you want to have more complex mechanics there is a mod called monorail.

Can you put this mod into some kind of modern vcs (hg or git) you can find free hosts all over the internet (bitbucket and github would be two examples) or just host them yourself. That would help you with development and others with understanding what happens and contributing. (Additionally this wo...

Mcc457 wrote:With this mod, can you create your own animals/mobs and edit how often they spawn?

Yes you can, this is a modpack, all mods besides mobf and animal_materials contain definitions for a single mob (or two to three for things with children and genders) you can take those as a starting point.
