it may sound stupid but what do you think of a server portal that allows to pass from a server to another carring username and inventory? incompatible items could be lost in the "jump" this would be a real world jumping portal i assume that it would need some work on the engine side and a whitelist...

i do not understand minetest is free software so if your beloved feature does not get into upstream you can simply fork the game and start your project eventually if you were right the two projects will merge into a single codebase isn't opensource driven by inspiration competition and collaboration...

position datatype error

trying to use the function minetest.env.punch_node i do always get this error
bad argument #1 to 'punch_node' (userdata expected, got table)

using the same variable in for example minetest.node_punch doesn't create problems i fail to understand my mistake :P

thanks Adam but the real problem was that i forgot to link the subname parameter of the function to the loop so i was overwriting the same definition at each iteration

ok so i was tring to add pillows in the form o stairsplus slabs made of wool i tried using a for cycle to irerate a list colors but all the colors i put in make the same slab and even in creative inventory it does not give me the other one this is my code for index,color in pairs({'red','white'}) do...

i'm really interested! the land reward is a cool idea but the sot reward wouldn't kill the balance between clans? also it could be really cool if a protection could have a random blindspot and for random i mean i can even not exist but people would still search for it just to be sure :D

very cool i may signal that it derails if the player tries to dig a node while riding the cart, well it is realistic in a certain way but i do not know if it was intended
