Is there any manual how to use MOBF? I couldn't find it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't exist. For example, my questions are: 1. how to catch vombie (hot to make vombie trap, what material is in middle?) {'default:wood', 'default:wood','default:wood'}, {'default:wood', "animalmaterial...

Recent Minetest (I got 0.4.5) changed damage algorithm and made the mobs indestructable. I got pretty annoyed while trying to kill a chicken with a mese sword until I decided to just look up git commits and figure out what's wrong. In api.lua, I found this function and added a workaround until a pr...

I have a big problem with crafting stairs when using this mod: there is a mention of using a circular saw, but no description of how to use it. Same with the screwdriver.
Also, why suppress the initial and so simple recipe for building straight stairs:

I am using the 0.4.6 build from xyz on windows 7, so it is up to date. I added the following mods: moreblocks, homedecor, plant-master, mobf, moreores, unified inventory and a few minor ones. I tried crafting simple straight stairs with cobblestone or stone and ...NOTHING! Any idea why? On previous ...

stairs stopped working in 0.4.6

with 0.4.6 and the previous build (24.03.13) from xyz, I have lost the ability to craft any stairs.

This is annoying.

I notice there are a list of mods in games/common. Are these activated automatically, even if I import a world from a previous version?

Should I add a stairs mod?

The 2.0.5 primary download includes the 2.0.4 version, probably by mistake. After you delete that extraneous folder, the 2.0.5 version of the mod will work.

Tree variety is nice, but, in my opinion, this mod goes a little overboard with tree height and trunk thickness.
Also, the building time at game startup is very long.

I understand it cannot follow me, but I would like to find it there when I come back, and instead, now, it disappears.

tamed wolf should teleport to you if it's distance is too big maybe there is a problem in finding a destination where to teleport to. do you use stable or development branch? My tamed wolf keeps disappearing completely. I already made about 5 of them and each time I have to find a wild wolf.

The tamed wolf work ok for a while, but does not follow me if I go far and is not there when I come back.

I run 0.4.5

Regarding the barn, I just dropped it in the yard where I keep my animals, and they started to reproduce, I had to remove it as I couldn't keep up with the slaughtering. The name is a misnomer, you don't put animals in the barn: the barn is no bigger than a block. The animals in the vicinity of the ...

I have some problems with the tamed wolf:

1. It has difficulties going up stairs
2. It gets embedded in earth blocks etc.
3. it doesn't follow me when I go for a longer walk: is there a max distance from its spawn location?
4. Sometimes, it disappears completely
