Segmentation fault Seems like a World related issue not seen it before though, Have you tried deleting your world folder and then starting again seeing if the problem still occurs? Edit: or it could be the below since its a Segmentation fault. Access violation is the Windows counterpart of segmenta...

Please post at least the last 20 lines from your Debug file. debug.txt is empty because of the crash. Crashes happen often when mining in open air, but I think it's related with the corrupted data issue on the windows versions. Any fixes out yet? Crashes do not wipe the Debug.txt as the game only Wr...

Well that says an Entire If statement is Failing due to an Access Violation. Are you using the most recent Build? http://celeron.55.lt/~celeron55/minetest/download.php If you are then are you an Administrator on that PC? - If not you should make yourself one. If you are, then make sure you have full...

To my knowledge what Weedy has done is that he has just built the unmodified c55 code using self-compiled libraries and VS2010, thus you are wrong. Or am I wrong? Well if it is Self Compiled libraries it be nice of him to share with you to which libraries he's compiled... But to be greatly honest I...

The crash is caused by stof() in utility.h due to the use of an uninitialized variable. This code is used on all compilers except MSVC 2010. That could not have caused anything like this. I suspect the way your code fixes the problem is only that it ignores errors at load time and causes failed-to-...

Wrong. This particular build is not a delta but original minetest-c55 build compiled by Weedy (active user of minetest) with MSVC2010 which appears to have no "corruption" bug. Also, my antivirus has no problems here. So after removing of C:\Users\*******\Downloads\minetest-0.2.20110731_3-win32\min...

As far is I know Weedy has not removed anything in that particular minetest-0.2.20110801-win32 build of m-c55 but used newer compiler and compiled few other libs himself. Then how would using Weedy's build Help anyone at all, Please stop referring people to his build unless there's actually a legit...

Id like to Point out "Invalid block data on disk" means data can't be loaded because its broken. Now if you follow the file path it give you in the WARNING line you can delete that file and fix the crashing issue. So Example: WARNING: Invalid block data on disk fullpath= E:\Games\Minetest\source\min...

By the look of it, it's just Block data that's become corrupt/invalid. Deleting C:\Users\*******\Downloads\minetest-0.2.20110731_3-win32\minetest-0.2.20110731_3-win32\bin\world\sectors2\ff9\ffc\0002 will fix it. Or just Spawn Area Protection? Like Minecraft you can define an area around spawn to which can't be modified unless OP. With Minetest it could be the Privs Flag or a New Flag. yes, an Area protection over spawn would be a good thing but, I think, chunk restoration is better... why ? because I think...

What about a bucket which allows you to collect water from the sea? Without destroying "endless" water, limited water can be drained. The collected water is just enough to fill one block and evaporates after a while if it takes up more than one block. So you can build your private swimming pool or ...
