So, can you point me to some API doc instead of saying you were able to use it (unless you're under NDA of course)?

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1560840-an-official-modding-api-for-minecraft/ It seems it's not implemented yet. So at the moment Minecraft doesn't have modding API (point me to official API docs otherwise). UPD: After a short research I figured they were claiming to implement API since around...

If not, the FAQ should probably be fixed. I wouldn't be too dismissive though. Installing OpenAL DID restore sound on 0.4.5 for the only Windows box I had it installed on. Didn't need to install OpenAL for 0.4.4, but definitely had to for 0.4.5. If you're not supposed to install OpenAL, maybe it's ...

IIRC you have to install openal on windows. Just run the .exe in the folder. Nope. I was on Minetest.net when I saw that they had a new version. So I deleted Minetest 0.4.4 and downloaded the new version. But now, there is no sound. I already tries downloading OpenAl, but it still doesn't work. Can...

Try to revert all changes in minetest.conf and then replace fonts/liberationsans.ttf with uming.ttc (or some other font)

@ xyz : And?... I mean, what's your point? "DO use RPM"? You totally missed my point. I actually wanted someone to build binaries (not .rpm packages) that are only dynamically-linked to libraries specified in LSB standard. All other libraries must be embedded (static). That'd produce a binary worki...

It still crashes .... I guess I just have to hope when the stable 0.4.5 packages are made available, they won't crash on my system. If they do, I'm not sure anything else can be done. Can you post the error you get? Also, make sure you're downloading sources from https://github.com/minetest/minetes...

I think I've narrowed down the problem a little. It seems the server might crash whenever my internet connection fails. In fact, if I try to start the server while my connection is down, it always crashes within a couple seconds. Sorry, I have no idea what can be wrong. Make sure you did a git pull...

Great job, xyz! Can be handy to shrink mods. But is that really necessary? I mean, modders community grew so large, 'cause of Lua being easy to learn. This *stress certainly makes it harder to read any code therefore stopping many peoples from learning it's features and syntax. That may result in *...

stress [dev]

stress is a jQuery-like library for Minetest. More info/documentation here . Experimental implementation Some examples (working ones): _("default:dirt"):on("place", function(me) me:name("default:dirt_with_grass") end) _({0, 0, 0}, {1, 1, 1}):name("air") Also see an example mod . Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
cp uming.ttc fonts/liberationsans.ttf
LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8 ./bin/minetest
