Try to revert all changes in minetest.conf and then replace fonts/liberationsans.ttf with uming.ttc (or some other font)

It still crashes .... I guess I just have to hope when the stable 0.4.5 packages are made available, they won't crash on my system. If they do, I'm not sure anything else can be done. I think I've narrowed down the problem a little. It seems the server might crash whenever my internet connection fails. In fact, if I try to start the server while my connection is down, it always crashes within a couple seconds. Sorry, I have no idea what can be wrong. Make sure you did a git pull...
