Yea sure, we start recoding thousands of lines of the engine and break every single mod because you want to use != instead of ~=.

However, I was having lag problems, in certain regions my drawtime would shoot up to around 200 and everything became very jittery. Other regions it was fine. SO, I decided to turn of shaders. And boy did that fix my drawtime problems! Much better. Wait, did you experince lag or performance issues?

No, you dont have to install the dependencies again and you dont have to clone again. Just git pull in the repo of the engine and minetest_game and run cmake and make again.
