metal sounds were added to 0.4.15 so if you are using 0.4.14 stable then you will get the above error.

nope nope nope... Anything below light level 13 should not be considered unless someone is using a custom setting for they're own singleplayer or server game... Adding a minetest.conf setting for 'grow_light_level' and defaulting to 13 while having a global variable for mods to use is all the change...

If any player has the 'protection_bypass' privelage then yes, protection wont stop them breaking/adding things.

Hi Codesound, placing a protector automatically has you as it's owner, so no-one can break or add anything to the area it protects (shown by the purple field when you punch it)... Some quirks to iron out still :) e.g. saddle loss, player sitting when horse killed by mobs etc.

Update: horse example above updated to fix known issues :) saddle drops when horse dies, player disconnects from horse properly on death.

Any account that has been /limited will have all privs revoked and that account cannot log back into server anymore, so I'll check your account and see what privs you do have and what you may be missing ( what is your name on server ? ).

One of the main updates to NG was the biomes but you shoudl be able to replace 1.16 with it and have things work, some weird biomes may form next to current one's though but nothing too drastic hopefully.

Protector Redo already has setting for minetest.conf to protect a huge spawn area:

protector_spawn = 50
- Sets an area 50 nodes around static spawnpoint that is protected.

sofar: because I enjoy maintaining my own set of mods (hoppers being a joint project with jordan).
