Banning and whitelisting

I have griefers on my server and no chance to kick or ban them. Can you add /#ban and /#ban-ip commands? And whitelist would be great too.

It still gets flooded now. What if on a place of the map you've not gone to look at yet has too much water? Fluid would mean the world's water would react in real time to what you do. If you kept blocking out the water around you build it could raise and flood somewhere else. I have dig out a large...

But it's fluid IRL and I like to see my shaft flooding when I accidentally digged out a hole to the sea :)

Notch made mushrooms self-replicate in the latest Minecraft update. Despite the slow rate of growth, they are gradually taking over entire maps and driving people crazy. This is a warning to anyone thinking about self-replicating items in Minetest. I put a single mushroom in a room in minecraft but...

Your log differs a bit from mine, but that is what it prints out when using high-res textures or by disabling the texture atlas. I seem to not be able to reproduce this problem (and couldn't download this particular texture pack). The only thing that would make sense to me is that the mineral_*.png...

I can add a new idea:
4. Add a new block for the lowest part of the tree. If you don't break it, the new tree will grow from it.

That's very strange. I don't see them in any of the texture packs but default. They are in the pack folder, but in the game i see only a simple stone.

Water physics

Why did you choose minecraft water physics? It's now realistic at all. I'd try to make DF-like one.

Tree farming

What about growing trees? Maybe existing trees could spread, or leaves can give player saplink like in MC.

This is a limitation of Irrlicht's font and input system. Somebody has made a TTF font rendering system but it's not (yet?) included in the native Irrlicht distribution (only patches), so it's too much of a hassle to use, apparently there are some cross-platform issues too: http://irrlicht.sourcefo...
