which DB and how to make it default?

Which database backend is The best and how can I make it default? Currently I try LevelDB, but I always have to change the settings manually

This map is really deadly. I spawned in a deasert biome, Trier to find The next tree, cut one block, made an axe and then I was attacked by sandmonster.

In another world i spawend in a snow biome and walked and walked and I starved before I found any food

Create script to clone/update mods from Github

Hi, I think about a script that automatically clones and updates my mods form Github. Just put the URL into a file and run the script (Linux).

Has anyone done this before or can help me? I'm not good in shell scripting and git

It's dark in mapgen v7

I create a new world with mapgen v7 and some mods, but it is really dark in some spots. Is v7 incompatible with mods like plantslife?

Creepers are a little bit buggy. They are huge and sink into the ground.

Update: Added explosion routine for exploding mobs (and Dungeon Master)... Removed footstep feature (use replace instead)... I like the Goblins, but I think they become to strong. What about reducing the chance of spawning, but if there is already a Goblin the chance of spawning is higher? So not each single lair is populated with Goblins

I like this mod, but mobs should make more noise, even if they are idle. I was attacked from behind without any noise

It's working now, but not for all textures. Dirt and glas for example are working, stone and cobblestone doesn't. See screenshots

I would like to install this texture pack, but it doesn't work. I have Minetest 0.4.13 on Ubuntu 14.04 and I installed it from the stable PPA.

I can see it in the Textures tab in the game and I can select it, but it doesn't change anything. The HDX 32px textures are working fine

Any idea?

Hi, I'm playing around with some mods and I think its annoying sometimes, that some mods like animals are mixing the animal theme with other things like traders or ghosts. I think an animals mod should only include (real) animals. Also mod packs would be nice because sometimes it is useful to select...
