Great, thanks. Very interested in prefab distribution and this may do what I want perfectly.

BTW, one more post and you're evil (666).

You can put it in c:\windows\system32\, however from a security standpoint downloading a .dll at random from the internet isn't safe (and re-reading your post, you probably can't paste to that directory anyway). Put it in the same directory as your minetest.exe file (ex: minetest-0.4.dev-20120408-wi...

Tested for v20120408 - good (somehow the mesecons activation seems even faster this release).

Working on pit trap spikes and seeking textures (see thread) in order to finish.

----- Another test to know if it's your iptables or your router requires another computer on your internal network: try to connect to the server at 192.168.2.2 Port 30000. If it fails, then it's your server and most likely the firewall. ---- Random thought: Did you restart your iptables after the ch...

Family is over for Easter Dinner. Will get back to you later. Basically you've got to pass the port from the router and point it right at the IP of the server. For example, my router is 172.25.4.1 and my server is 172.25.4.150 on my internal network. I have to tell the router to pass all port 3000 U...

Private IP address s/b the server's internal address. I believe that is 192.168.1.5 in your example.

[Texture Request] - Spikes

Would anyone be interested in creating a texture each for minor and major spikes? I keep fiddling with it and am unhappy with anything I come up with. Currently the image for one of the spikes is this: http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h195/rabbibob/Minetest/BobBlocks/MinetestOpenGL420FPS61331201265...

Stealth = port isn't open all the way through.

Iptables is a firewall and is probably what needs to be set up to allow the port through to the server:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Iptables

Seems like you are close, just the last hurdle.

Right, I get that and it's not what I'm saying. I have the current groups on my nodes: groups = {snappy=2,cracky=3,oddly_breakable_by_hand=3}, The engine knows that my block belongs to those groups and acts accordingly. My question was "would it be possible to have Particles Mod react to a node that...
