Yes you can still participate if you don't have skype. But, if you do have it, we could do a voice quick build challenge, where you can hear both competitors, and they are generally better. Not sure about that. But, I'm 100% sure, from experience that the download in the "Ubuntu Software Centre" is out-dated. I was on 12.04 at the time, but I think the version makes no difference.

One thing is that when installing using Ubuntu, the version found on the "Ubuntu Software Centre" is usually out-of-date. So if they want to use 0.4.4 they HAVE to download it via the site's download link.

Wow; This mod is amazing. Can you add a hunger bar, or some sort of communication to the player to tell them when they need to replenish their health.

Can I host this on your server? Minetest quick-build challenge

I can't do some of the necessaries to run my own server for the event, and I'm still in need of a server. It'll only be a small arena somewhere obscure and out the way, and no added mods, because they're not needed.

Have you tried it? And don't downgrade other peoples work unless you want to be hit hard by them.
