IMO, the new texture system is a big mess. /o\
I prefer the old method which you only had to put all the textures in the data folder.

Yes bcmpinc has fixed the TNT. You can get it here: https://github.com/bcmpinc/minetest
And don't worry, I just edited the damage radius of the TNT. In principle, the TNT just removes blocks in a radius of more or less 3 blocks. :D

That's normal. The 0.4 use remote textures hosted on the server (if I understood well).
As the old servers don't send you the textures, the game use the "unknown block" texture everywhere.
I can't say more, I don't really know so much why It does that.

Hi!

FYI, 192.168.1.8 is a local address so that means we can't connect to it.
5.92.148.56 is your public address and this the one you have to give to the players.

Concerning your server, I tried to connect to it and it failed. Maybe you didn't open the port on your router and firewall.

As Calinou said, you have to fork the project to add features and mods.
If you want to test unofficial features, you can browse github by looking for Minetest's forks and compile them.

Concerning legal stuff, just ask first the original author if you can convert his texture pack for Minetest.

Then, if he agrees, you can upload your texture pack somewhere like Mediafire or Megaupload and then share the link here.

Yes, you better have to run the game in a terminal so when you put a teleporter somewhere, his correct position is printed in the output.
