After I replaced fontlucida.png with the image from http://imgur.com/xQfUt chat was readable on all backgrounds. But the font looks a bit fuzzy on the login screen.

Having levels and character classes is a step towards excluding casual gamers. I don't have enough spare time to do lots of grinding before I can build the good items.
