Re: [Server] Not So Simple Server

Hmm.. Good information :)

It wasn't near deep colony. At least I dont think so. I dug a hole near spawn and got around -400, had one or two of them in an unexplored cave... and ran away :) I tried something with water, but died to many times.

Re: Jungle

Of course :)

I meant, some players (I'm not talking for me, ... er .. maybe :D ) can be trusted enought to be granted some area privilèges.

Re: [Server] Not So Simple Server

Lava Titan is very challenging. That's interresting.

But I found too many of them.

I don't know if it's possible but it would be great to have harder mobs the deeper you are or the farther you are from spawn.

Re: [Mod] Invisible Protection Block [first version]

In that case, area + markers are the best choice. No visible block (markers can be removed), and, IMO, better implementation than protection blocks.

Re: Suggestion: X-Ray (Like No-Clip)

Mmmh.. Interesting.
If you enable noclip, even without privileges, it may change sky color.

And anyway, you have the minimap to find caves.

Re: [Mod] RemoteViewer [remoteview]

I saw such a block on a server a while ago, it was a "Spyblock". I guess it was from Various Mod ( viewtopic.php?id=1013 ).

I have no time (and not enough skills) to work on that, but I think of a minetest game where everything is huge, trees, herbs, and so, like small people living in a giant world.

Re: [Mod] Integral Trees [integral]

Reminds me the world of "Below the root", a video game I used to play a loooooooooong time ago :) It was a 2D world (vertical - horizontal) with huge trees you had to wander in. The map : http://www.thegreatness.com/belowtheroot/belowtheroot.png A page with some screenshots (8 bits power) ...

Re: Créer un panneau avec du texte écrit dessus.

Il y a deux API :
- display_lib et font_lib dans display_modpack (https://github.com/pyrollo/display_modpack)
- signs_lib (https://github.com/minetest-mods/signs_lib)

(Je fais de la pub pour mon display_lib / font_lib que je trouve mieux foutue :p )

Re: [Mod] Technic [0.4.11] [technic]

Good !
Thats a very annoying bug in technics, ejection side (right or left) depends on the orientation (N/S or E/W).

Re: [Mod] Technic [0.4.11] [technic]

Two things :
- Grinder should be MV
- A control unit logic has to be put in one of the upgrade slots

Then you have to check on which side dust is ejected (depending on orientation). Put a chest on each side and check.

Re: My own server!

You can get your internet IP address using websites like this one : https://www.whatismyip.com/ Then you go to your ISP box administration (if you have a box) and "forward" ports 30000/TCP and 30000/UDP to the local address you gave first. Then you should be able to connect to your server ...

Re: My own server!

Hi Jesseman1, the address you provided, 192.168.10.168 is a local area network.address. If you want people from outside your network to access to your server, you have to.provide an Internet address and forward ports from your box to your computer

Re: MY SERVER ALMOST FULL, CAN I SAVE IT?

Never tried but heard about unexplore scripts : scripts that remove from the database, map blocs that have been generated by mapgen but not modified by players.

First of all, try to figure out what takes disk space (sometimes, you get disk filled up of debug logs).
