Hi!

can we use lava in bucket?
When I try to put lava in bucket, I obtained a "unknow item".
It's normal or not?

Some part of land looks like lava on water.

Just so that everybody knows, I'm on vacation right now and can't post much. When I get back on the 23rd of August, I'm planning on changing to a new map on this server as the current one is now quite old and stale.

Lava buckets were disabled due to griefing.

Thanks for all.

Yes, I read that there no fire and no tnt. There is no lava on bucket, it's better.

Some suggestion for the next map :

- Can you copy some interesting building?
- For the first login, can you replace the given wood by some different sapling? (sapling and pine sapling for example).

I think there is too many given stuff, so there is too many high ungracious 2500x1x1 stuff.

also, the server seems to have been down for longer than usual.

Minetest and minetest_game have both been updated to 0.4.13 on this server.

The map has been changed. The mapgen has been switched to mgv7 with slightly modified noiseparams. The initial stuff given has been reduced significantly and the size of the spawn area has been made much larger to encourage players to spread out more.

I may install a few gameplay related mods in the days ahead. eg. fishing.

I was mining at about -170, y, -1650 when I fell down a hole and died. when I got back, a few minutes later, my bones had gone, so I have lost most of my valuable items. why did this happen? I thought that no-one could steal from fresh bones.

Your bones were deleted due to the fact that my serveressentials mod removes bones automatically to keep the map clean. This was buggy however, and some bones ended up being deleted early, as appears to have happened in your case. I have removed this functionality from serveressentials so you shouldn't encounter this anymore.

I confirm, I needed less 5 minutes to reach my last emplacement. I can only found stuff I prepare to craft iron pics (iron and stick). All other was disappeared. No bones, no helmet, boots...

Or, may be the fire from monster can burn bones? So, why there is iron and stick?

The server has been really laggy over the last few days. sometimes it doesn't load for minutes at a time

Please add the currency (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7002) mod. It would help a LOT, especially when you need to make a shop. Also, as a dual recommendation, up the limit on max areas. 3 is too small for most builders' needs.

I'm not too comfortable with the idea of a currency mod. I'd prefer something simpler. I'll see what I can do over the next little while to make trading between players easier, although I am pretty busy with other things right now.

Also, the max number of areas has been increased to 4.

A bit late here, but I have just added an experimental trading mod. You can now use /trade to request to trade with another player, and the other player can then use /accepttrade [playername] to accept a trade with a player. A formspec should then appear allowing the two players to trade.

It's something that I just threw together last night, so expect bugs. If anybody finds any, please let me know. I'll try to get the mod its own thread and put the code up on Github soon.

happy new years! The trading thing you have set up only works on highly populated servers like Skyblock and Xanadu. (Not saying they have it) What this lonely server needs is the barter table and a type of automatic player shop. Thanks for making the mod anyways! You could try and get it added into Shivajiva's Skyblock server, it would be useful there.
