Cant login currently after server daily update, says:
A Serilization error occured:
unsupported ContentFeatures version
The server is probably running a different version of Minetest.
(im using krock daily https://www.dropbox.com/s/3dp96sykwtqcv ... 0e75eb4.7z)

I can't get on this morning, same error as listed above.
Minetest version: 0.4.13-dev, Xubuntu 14.04 (32bit),

I USED to have my autoupdates set to ppa:minetestdevs/daily-builds, but a few weeks ago TenPlus1 pointed out that it would be much better to use the stable repository. So I switched to
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:minetestdevs/stable

But, of course, that didn't uninstall my current -dev version. So I uninstalled minetest, then
sudo apt-get install minetest

and now I can get in just fine. Ten's wisdom about avoiding the daily builds was prophetic. :)

(I think I originally went to dailies because I was having trouble with the current stable build and was hoping for a fix)

I had the same issue this morning on my work laptop. I had a daily only a few days old on that one, at home I had the older daily from when the labels were installed (and no issues there)

So I downloaded the current daily (4557), five hours old at the time, which solved the issue here.
Looks like a few versions inbetween that are causing hickups...

tested my log-in today and it was fine as always. =(^.^)=
i have linux mint (ubuntu) and the dayly ppas for stable and unstable versions.
get an update everyday and sometimes even twice a day (morning and evening),
so far i never had trouble with any version.

(although whenever i heard something about about a bug or other issues, there was always the next update ready before i could experience any trouble)

also, how does Josh prevent his clothes from getting all greasy?
(if i would lay on a pizza, my fur would be ruined ...)

The latest daily build of Minetest fixed some bugs but added a new doors mod and new furnace which break some of the current mods... Furnace has been fixed already by including the old abm style furnace into Hoppers mod, as for the doors I'm going to have to edit castle mod's oak door textures and re-add as well as the copper door.
