Yeah I know, the ice mobs are a pain - hence the attempt at a tool. I'm sorry it didn't do enough :-(
I need to check (I am away from base) but I think I *had* ensured that ice mobs were less virulent already. I'm managing many changes so perhaps I skipped that one during a switch, I will verify.
I was intending that the reduced virulence would ensure that:
* ice mobs would propagate ice less * sandworms would eat less sand * stone eaters would eat less stone * NSSM bosses would be unaffected
NSSM Bosses don't currently spawn (working on a "summoning" spawn ...)
I know a couple of players erected a wall between their farm and the nearby Ice biome, so that's one solution.... just don't make it out of ice - make it out of ice-bricks etc instead...
I'll try to sort this out as soon as I can, within the next couple of days perhaps.
Just been online. Could have sworn Ice Brick was a thing. Apparently not. Well cobblestone and dirt will do too (hey the excesses from mining can have a purpose! :-P)
Pretty much all mobs are now docile, so you should be able to live and build safely :-)
I'm working on a way of importing mobs from other worlds - so if you think you will want NSSM mobs, go play on NSSS, keep the eggs, and standby for crossovers!
