Idiot proof server joining please!!
I tried to join a server all by myself but i'm too much of a noob to figure it out.. Please help me someone lol. I dont know anyone else that plays this game yet.. Any simplified help and/or explanations on how to play with other ppl would be much appreciated.

Hey dude I feel the same way Idk how to join them either but you need the port and server name and password if there is one.

To connect, when starting up Minetest, go to the ''multiplayer'' tab. ''Name'' is the name you want to go by in the server, ''Password'' is a password you want for your account on that server, ''address'' is the web address of the server, and the little slot to the right of ''address'' is the port the server is hosted on.
For example,:
This will connect you to Redcrab's 0.4.3 server on port #30401, password is ******** and your IGN is Mediumshdaow1.
(note - don't use ******** as the password; make it a mixture of letters and numbers, uppercase and lowercase)
Note: if you want to connect to most servers, you must find their forum topic After entering the server at least once, setting a password when you connect by filling it into the ''password'' bar, etc etc etc..., go to the forum topic, final page, and at the bottom, reply asking for ''interact/build rights'' and state ''thank you''.
For example,:
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
- Code: Select all

Also, going to the ''settings'' tab and clicking ''change keys'' (or just ''keys'') will pull up a menu where you can change the keys for movement and almost everything else. If you're used to using the directional buttons for moving in other games, set the buttons for moving to those directional buttons.

You can find on this forum, under servers, minetest servers monitoring service (first sticky post) a nice list with server adresses and ports and more info.
