How did he grief it? He had an "accident" with lava and water "trying to make obsidian" that covered a decent area on my server in stone. I've been keeping an eye on him and wondered if that's what he did on yours.

He placed a lava source on the highest point of the antenna on top of the office building, covering the building and its surroundings entirely with lava. That was no mistake.

Someone wants to make obsidian, they can do that in empty land where it won't cover other peoples' stuff.

Ouch... He doesn't seem bad on BrandonReese's server.. But normally, lava spills aren't accidents. Well.. I did have this one time I was trying to make a stone generator in my house because someone else was making one.. Covered my whole house in lava and burned down someone else's >.< (Ray's server) fortunately, It was only 20 blocks of plank XD

I have been fooling around with the pixelmap a bit. This is just a proof of concept example.

The checkboxes of the GUI mockup are just dummies and are not connected to the svg map wrap in the inlined frame.

What works is moving the map with a mouse button held and zooming in and out with the mousewheel thanks to the SVGPan.js library by Andrea Leofreddi and others.

The Travelnet boxes from Gridknot Travelnet are an inlined svg from an original external source.

Something like: mod_travelnet.data -> excel -> Gridknot.svg inlined into VanessaEMap02c3.svg called by VanessaE-ServerMap.html displayed over VanessaE_World_20130516central.png

Some names should pop up if you hover long enough over a red circle or VanessaE's house.
Sadly Inkscape wrecked some of my handcoded coordinats so this will work different in the proper version and most of the bloated Inkscape code will have to be edited out if I don't decide to rewrite the whole svg file by hand. Oh well have fun ...

Twoelk, very nicely done. I'd like to work on having something like this in place officially for this server (though I run Linux, so using Excel during the translation would be out of course)

Talked with Dominik on the server while fiddling with uploading the map. he was the first to try the link. Had told him the tunnel to spawn was finished so he could go on with his minecart subway track. (btw there now is a tunnel from Northern Inn to spawn area under the north-street). Hope he wasn't annoyed/bored because I didn't have the time to play. We did have minor lava spills when he build his skyblocks. The two water pools behind the bath building were one result of a lava spill getting out of control. Last lava-experiment of his I saw were "lava-windows" that looked quite interesting.

Well now he will have to explain to his mother what he did to ask her for help translating if he wants to come back. Wonder if he learns the lesson. You may want to add this sentence to the ban notice so he understands without having to ask his mother.

excel/ooocalc was the worst idea I had. Must be replaced by something else.

This was a lava node placed dead center in the spawn, only possible by using a bucket because the spawn is owned (by me). That means he could have scooped it up but chose not to.

I'll revert the ban, with the understanding that he not do anything like that again, on anyone's structure.

Vanessa im going to be gone next week on vacation too along with the rest of this week. Also I would like for a friend of mine to be able to interact on the game when he plays for the first time ill tell you the name as soon as he gets on the server for the first time.
