Hello all,

We are a multi-game FPS clan that is running a minetest 0.4.4 server at wazuclan.com:30000. The server runs 24/7. We are looking for comments and ideas, so stop by and let us know what you think.

We run a number of in-house mods. Don't expect them to be shiny.

mods:
wazumod: provides players with currency to purchase certain goodies
permafy: Allows admins to protect areas for players
xdoors2: Improved doors
stairs+: Improved stairs and slabs
permablocks: indestructible blocks with which players can build (includes dirt, stone, cobble, brick, stairs, and many others)
moreblocks: expanded block pack
doors: I bet you can guess what these are
inventory_plus
skins: Customizable 3D player models!

alterations & features:

Persistant world (no regular wipes)
Interact on join. No sign-up process required.
In-game global chat interface with our IRC server & all of our other game servers
Lava buckets have been disabled to prevent lava griefing
Nightly back-ups available for download at http://wazuclan.com/minetest_backups.
24/7 uptime! (or, at least, that's what we strive for)

If you have a structure that you've built on the server that you would like protected, just ask an admin. Our town is growing into a city :) New contributions are welcome!

Big thanks to everybody who helped us playtest and sort things out over the last few days. Our little town is off to a nice start. Come take a look ;)

We will continue to allow shout, interact and fast privs by default. To provide protection against griefers, we are now performing nightly back-ups of the world database. They can be found at http://www.wazuclan.com/minetest_backups. This also means that its possible to create your own fork of our world :)

We're still considering mods for inclusion, so if you have any recommendations I would love to hear them. Look forward to seeing you in-game!

Are there any admins that are online at 13:00(Greenwich) or so? When I play, there arent any admins.

I am usually around (on and off) from 20:00 GMT until about 4:00 GMT. There are other admins that are around during different times. If there is no one on the server, there is frequently someone in IRC who is still listening to server chat that can talk to you and jump on if need be.

Also, if you need lava for some reason, ask an admin to place it for you. We will decide whether or not you are trying to use it to grief. :D

WHOEVER KEEPS GRIEVING ME STOP IT NOW!!!!! im sick of logging on and having to se my stuff to fix my house and un-flood the freaking thing. if it doesnt stop i will start grieving anyone i see in my house.

Please read the page on our in-house permablocks mod and request some coins in-game. There are resources available to prevent this from happening. Thanks.

There are normally admins idling in IRC even if they are not logged into the server, just ask. Obviously I'm not going to ban someone just because you've told me to. Perhaps you could enumerate the maaany different reasons in an e-mail.
