FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Right I have setup a server, and I would like some peeps to test it.

ADDRESS: mt2.freedns.in on Port 30000
(This is a NON-STATIC address, if my router dies, then you will have to check for the new IP. I will check often and I have got a working DynDNS updater working now.)

HOWEVER, BUILD IS DISABLED.

SERVER INFO:

3.8GHZ Pentium 4

1GB of RAM

160GB SATA DRIVE.

WINDOWS XP SP3

MINETEST 0.4 22/1/12 LATEST WINDOWS BUILD.

DECENT SPEED INTERNET CONNECTION. (BTW YOU CANNOT END MY UNLIMITED INTERNET SO I WONT HAVE TO SHUT DOWN FOR SOME REASON IF MY IP CHANGES, I WILL UPDATE POST ACCORDINGLY.)

MODS INSTALLED:

Flowers
Home_mod - modified to remove the glass panes and use my own.
sethome
Mesecons
gates
colour blocks
leaf decay - dont work UNUSABLE MOD
panes.

EDIT2: Player max is now 7.

to many users and if you want you can use my minetest.sytes.net no-ip address if you want

thats a bad idea, my router hates this and its set to port forward to one pc in the house, not all.

kay just a suggestion and if your test can sucessfully hold up to the capacity of the client without serious lag i suggest expanding (ie i really want to get in!)

Just so you know, when I suggested a forum for the server, I mean a forum as in the Minetest forum, not a forum topic.

If you tell me the name of the server, if there is one, I can make a forum in about 10 minutes.

sdzen, there was no lag when me and bwog were playing.

Hey guys, you can now join my server, (but any request to build will not be allowed.)

Is it on right now? I can't connect.

My server is online until I goto bed, it should now say [ONLINE] in the title.

Suggestion: Back it up (Just the world file, just copy it somewhere) every day.

Just in case something goes wrong and we can't fix it.

Thats fine, I just working on some mods right now, (custom one that can only be gained by giveme)

It always takes me a few times to connect, I don't know why.

hmmm???? for some reason it says to many users

it always crashes in the "waiting content" screen.Textures never load,and after 10 seconds it crashes

too many users!

I set it so everyone does not lagggggg. However, I must restart the server at some point. I might increase this number to around 8 maybe 10, (I just have to delete the debug.)

If there are problems please tell me.

Again, for whatever reason, I can't connect right now, and it'll work perfectly fine later. Does the Internet travel faster at day, like radio signals travel farther at night, only reverse? Weird.

My router messed up its fine now.

EDIT: The server is HARDWIRED INTO THE ETHERNET, IT SHOULD NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE. MY BROTHER MESSED IT UP WITH FACEBOOK. However, I can continue hosting as normal.

Although I still can't connect, putting in the correct address would help.

Erm, problemo.

My grilfriend wishes to play minetest.

And this means having an ON/OFF SERVER.

So it can be on at certain times of day, then off again. (Life don't get easier than this.)

Just for a few days or for more then that?

I might come on later.
