PLEASE HELP server creation
Posted: Sat Mar 17, 2012 00:55I'm new to minetest and I wanted to know how to make a server. I gave my friend my IP address and he entered it. the port is 30000. Please Help.

Posted: Sat Mar 17, 2012 00:55Posted: Sat Mar 17, 2012 03:08make sure you portforward. uh, go to cmd, type ipconfig, it should show your ip in there, take the ip, paste it up in the URL bar and press enter. You should be at your routers page. It might ask you for name and password... which I don't know what yours will be so you can just google it or something for default passwords/usernames. Go to portforward.com, look up your router on the list, and read on how you can forward ports.
