Plasticbox

Tank extended the plasticboxmod. Now all boxes can be crafted with a torch to a glowing
box. Also Plasticbox fits in CNC machine, but only the non glowing version. CNC machine
does not support glowing blocks.

Server looks pretty cool! Close to what I am looking for. Any reason we can't have fast privileges though? Sometimes when building it is required to make several trips over long distances (moving resources, mining, etc) and fast makes that a lot easier.

Hi Iguana,

why i do not grant fast priv to other players is very simple. Loading and even more generating new chunks of the world
causes the most cpu usage of the server. Two or three players with fast priv moving in different directions in the
world would leave the server unplayable because lag would rise very high. I tried that once with two other players
to do some stress tests to find out what causes the most cpu usage on my server.

If you have to travel long distances I would suggest to use travelnets which are very convinient. If you have to carry
lots of stuff with you, you might want to use bags or take filled goldchest with a wrench.

thanks again to Tank, Plastikbox mod is updated again. Now having glow boxes and
super glow boxes. Tank also cleaned code and made it easier to add new colors if
necessary. (all can be processed in circular saw and nonglowing in CNC also)



Added new mod baked clay from TenPlus1:

adding new building blocks.




And coming soon a huge new building in the deserts of Jungle. -Kiba- already worked more than 57 hours
on building it and as soon as it is finished it will be moved to Jungle. Be ready to see something extraordinary :)

glowing spheres and pillars are awesome !



And Jungles biggest building project ever is ready to visit:

-Kiba-'s hanging gardens of Babylon is now almost fully planted. Light installation is finished
so far, so do not miss to take a look at night, too. Can be reached over public travelnet from spawn.

Jungle metro line is open to public now. Craft your own cart and use it in our Metro Network. Most rails are powered
so just sit and relax :) and see our awesome metrostaions.


Technic tweaks:

- new are MV-hydro-generator providing 480 EU of MV when running at 100%. Textures made by tm3
- and HV-centrifuges doing pretty much the same than MV but without loss converting HV to MV energy.

The letters mod by Amaz, a little bit modified by me adding a lightsource feature.

Technic update (HV-Machines)

Since this morning my new technic tweak is online. We already have HV-machines for
quiet a while now. The bottleneck was the transport from the machine to the pipe. The
Hv machines producing very fast but sending items to tube much too slow.

This is solved now. Use one logical control unit and one red energy crystal as upgrade
and all produced items will be send to tube without delay. Super fast production line :)
and no longer waiting for the items beeing send to tube 1 by 1.

I changed the initial stuff to make it a bit easier to survive for new players. You will
get a whole variety of indonesian food to survive the first days. But remember we have
hunger and diet, so do not forget to care about your food.
You're not much into farming and cooking ? Then keep on mining and earn MineGelds
to buy food on local market or in players shops and restaurants.

New mods

new on server is sprint and gravitysim.

sprint lets you move 50% faster than usual for as long as 15 seconds.

gravitysim is new mod from me, decreasing gravity and increasing jump highness depending on your altitude

Bugfix

finally I found what makes only dirt_with_grass usuable for farming:

it was the fishing mod. Now I changed configuration. That means you do not have
to wait until grass grows on dirt if you want to do farming. That also means if you
want fishing, you will get the worms by working with a hoe on dirt and grabbing the
worms with mouse RIGHT-click. (leftclick will kill the worms).


Also I added straw to circualr saw. (cottages:straw, cottages straw_bale, farming:straw)

I just made a pull request on travelnet mod for allowing doors to be triggered by mesecons. This allows to use travelnet doors like default doors with player detector.

Automatic doors and better centrifuges

Thanks to Naj (read 2 posts before this one), now the elevator doors of the travelnet mod
can be controlled by mesecon signal.

Another little change are the HV-centrifuge which now need less power than its MV counterpart.

no batterie: 6000 HV
one batterie: 5000 HV
two batteries: 4000 HV

Hi Naj,

letters and hole machine will be easy, circular saw will take a while because I
added some materials to it in its mod itself not in the moreblocks mod. But yes
it will be possible to put it in a list. :)

Put things like that in the first post is a really good idea. Why didn't I do that from
the beginning ??? :D

Thanks to Lebanenn we now have a new addition to the farming_plus mod:

Soybeans

The first seeds you can get from putting two Dry_shrub in your craftgrid. 5 stages later
you can harvest your soybeans. Make soymilk, soysauce, tofu and cookedtofu from it
6 soymilk gives you one realmilk while cooked tofu can be made to any kind of meat.
(do not ask me where the bone comes from :D )
Look in inventory for the detailed recipes.
Diet and hunger is updated and should work.



Second we have a bamboo mod now. It will grow up to 10 nodes high and likes water nearby.
Get it in our arboretum or search for it in the wild. It likes dirt and desert_sand near water.
Bamboo mod is made by Krock: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8289



Third, the beertest mod is tweaked so you can harvest hops not only with your hand, but also
with default wooden axe and mithrilpick.
(if anybody knows why on_punch is not called when using a sickle, please tell me)

I did not implement the whole doors modpack, only a few chosen like future_doors



Fixes of other mods:
    cottages: fixed the recipe of straw and straw_bale
    beer_test: filling beer is possible now with hitting the barrel with a whole stack of tankards. (no more one by one filling)
    mydoors: fixed recipes for future_doors, having all the same recipe before

New mod is ScifiNodes from D00Med:

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11751&p=225630#p175293
As this mod seems to be made for creative servers it does not come with any
recipes and the doors having a itemstack issue.
I fixed the doorsproblem (itemstack was not reduced after placing) and opened
an adminshop selling all items for 1MG each item.
You will find the adminshop using the public travelnet from spawn or elsewhere.


futuredoors from mydoors mod had the same itemstackissue which was solved
by TANK this morning.
