Why would someone create a server for you?
Would they receive money or a daily cup of coffee? No?

Best choice is to start your own server on a laptop or (better), on a RPI.
All you need to do is to start minetest-server/minetest.exe with your configuration and forwarding the UDP port on your router. Done.

Alternatively play on already existing servers with some few players.

If you can find a legitimate Free VPS on the internet, you could use that to host a server; but it may not run very fast, and it will eventually need to be upgraded to either paid VPS or your own server machine.

I use DigitalOcean.com to host my server. It's $10 per month to host a server.

I use arubacloud.com and i only pay 1$ a month
