Role play server Looking for staff.

My server aims to be one of the most friendly and welcoming servers you'll find around. Our server aims to be cross between free-build, survival and roleplay.

The goal of this server will be to build a huge city with areas for players to live.

I am looking for both builders and moderators to help ready the server for the launch in 3 too 4 weeks I am also looking for mod ideas and of course map ideas.

Requirements To apply

1: You must be mature and able to get along with fellow players
2: You must be able to show commitment to the server.
3: Not Required but it is recommended that you have past experience. as a staff member on other servers.
5: Must have basic knowledge of mods such as world edit and areas.
6: Must have access to teamspeak for now until i get a mumble server setup. I know most people here use IRC but i find voice servers more effective for team communication when building IRC will also be available soon.

Staff duties excluding builder will include

1 Helping players resolve issues
2 Insuring rules are are followed
3 Executing fair and just punishments to rule breakers.
4 Insuring a smooth running server

Builders Duties include
1 Helping players if they have been griefed
2 Helping with construction of buildings in our city

Making an application

All applications must include the following


1 Your main in game name used on minetest.
2 Past experience if any
3 why should I should accept you
4 What position are you aiming for?
5 why do you want to be staff

After you have made an application i will PM the server IP and teamspeak IP I can then explain the server plan in more details. Hope to see you soon :)

1. Teamspeak is a bad program. Use mumble, it's free/open-source and available on all platforms (and inspired by teamspeak).
2. Why so much time in a week ? Do you want everyone to lose their life ?
3. Roleplay about.... ?
4. Mods ? Mapgen ? When will the server be out ? Is it already out ? To what adress ? Port ?
5. Do you have any github repository, it could be very helpful.

Can I be part of the staff ? This project is interesting me :)
I'm part of Minetest community since 2011 and on the forum since 2012. I'm on the MinetestForFun community and server (name = Obani ) https://github.com/MinetestForFun .
I've helped on some textures, music, and cleanup shit, and am also a builder.
BUT
I don't play Minetest very oftently, and most of the time I play on action servers (e.g : ctf server by rubenwardy) or play another game like teeworlds. So I'm not an active player but still have a pretty good knowledge about Minetest world in general. I know some who are better but who play even fewer :p.

I've been part of Steinheim community, and played on several servers. I can't help about coding but I can find you modes that could help you doing what you want.

Yes the server is international however players must be able to speak and understand basic English
