[Server] Lumaria

Subgame: wasteland
Mods: kalite*, caverealms, oresplus, ...
* kalite is support mod, which includes an edible ore.

Story
We brought some supplies down with us. Now, we need to find a way to the surface.

Rules:
  1. Do not burn down spawn, the auto-spawn trees will flame indefinitely.

Notes:
  • Spawn is -26111 nodes deep.
  • /reset to go back to spawn with no inventory and respawn point reset.
  • /killme to perform a death and respawn at last set respawn point.
  • Activate a bed to set your respawn point.
  • You need a walkie talkie to talk to players out of visible range, or to use /msg.
  • /me actions are only visible to nearby players.
  • Hold the "Use" key to enable sprinting in any direction.

Thank you for the interest! My current depth is -20000. Fixed some caverealms nodes from being unbreakable, and added sprint.

The zombies and ghosts might say immortal, but you can fell them with just a few swipes of your sword. Still wrapping my head around groups, groupcaps, etc..

Ah, a sword's needed to kill zombies? I couldn't kill them with my hands.
I think the portal stone-thing network's broken, at portal U, the stone's missing, and I can't get to spawn without doing /reset.
Edit: I'm at spawn again, forgot how I got there.

For some reason the player's position is getting reset sometimes. I'm not sure why at all, but I have my suspicions that it's the bed. Try placing or digging a block before logging out. :O It doesn't happen very often, but when it does it's disturbing to say the least.

Edit: The way it's setup it's way easier to go up than to get back down. Also, the last warp destination is missing a subsequent warp stone because that's as far as I've mined. Once -19,000 is reached I'll set the "S" spawn.

No, you can punch them to dead, you need to punch it several times, try harder

Nope, doesn't work. I've punched zombies for minutes without them getting any damage.
If you have debug mode on, their HP stays the same.

You are not suposed to hold the mouse button, you need to click many times, works for me :P
Not sure about the HP, it never drops, not even when you kill it. It also has the "immortal" tag, like droped items.

Yeah that's a Minetest thingy, you have to let the wielditem cock back. I dug my way up, no teleport. Though, I ultimately gave myself a non-wearing, very fast pick. Now I just have to lay 25,000 rails.

The power went out briefly and the game time has been reset. This will mark the time since the last bad crash. You can set your respawn in a bed even without skipping the night. Respects protection. Added protected sign. You can now sprint in any direction, even up and down. Previously the up arrow key had to be held for sprint mode to activate.

Furniture has been added in the form of PEAK's pktairs. A credits section has been added to the original post. Thanks to jp for X-Decor, where the rope and craft guide originate. Shops are to be added, and new users will no longer get a free walkie talkie. I've installed BlockMen's nametag mod with high hopes, but haven't been able to name entities yet. I did, however, add a Zombie Salesman for placement next to shops. LOL

Edit: Apparently nametags are working.

Updated original post and included a first world overview image. I'm still working on colors.txt, as I couldn't get the nodes.txt file from /dumpnodes -- not sure what I did wrong there. Fixed the fence gate not making a sound, and added CaveRealms glow stairs and slabs.

Still working on colors.txt. Added a bones node (from stock MTG), a bone, a skull, and bone meal which is identical to default:minerals. Currently the only way to get a bone is from a zombie. Craft bone meal from either bone or skull for 9. Craft a bones node using a skull surrounded by 8 bone items. Fixed fence gate sound being played for all players instead of at that position.

Added a warp stone for each of the CaveRealms glow nodes. Colors aren't quite correct yet.

Only the amethyst (purple) one does anything. If you stand next to a configured warp while holding it, you will be teleported to its destination automatically.

Added a wardrobe node with textures from indriApollo's Wardrobe mod. This is just a chest with a skin changer. The skins are craftitems and you can buy or trade them. There's only two, and it'll be like that until I abstract the code. There is also a /skin command, but does not yet persist.

The skybox is set to plain black for depths below -60. This was inspired by emperor_genshin's skybox mod. The locked doors and protector groups have been updated. Bucket mod was update, while preserving snow bucket.

Added steel trapdoor by sofar. Added a stone tile, currently just the top of the furnace so if you're using a texture pack this will look pretty funny. Added crafting for obsidian shards from CaveRealms glow obsidian 1 and 2. Adjusted some more group ratings, as well as some sound volumes. Obsidian glass door is back in.

Added a sethome functionality to the emerald warpstone. Place an emerald warp stone to set your home. Use an emerald warpstone to teleport back there after standing still for 5 seconds. In addition to this I will be making another warpstone for getting back to spawn easily.

Edit: Added bronze screwdriver with 500 uses, changed iron screwdriver to 250 uses from 200. Replaced diamond tools with bronze. Added a lightbox with light = 14, and the big one: Players now get poisoned when they attack another player.

Thank you, Dragonop! In addition to getting sick from attacking players, I did also lower the fleshy amounts of the swords very slightly. I've now added the spawn warp functionality to the ruby warpstone. Punch it, or use (swing) the warpstone and wait five seconds to teleport to spawn.

Added anti-PvP measures around the yellow (mese) warpstone. If a player attacks another player who is standing within a 5-node radius of the warpstone, it'll remove any damage and send the attacker to jail.

Added a backpack. Place it and right click to access, dig it and it will preserve the items. This gives you a total of 256 possible inventory slots. Anyone can grab them if they're out though.

As for the warps I'll place here a key before I update the OP:
Red: Punch or swing to get back to spawn.
Green: Place to set home, punch or swing to get back home.
Purple: Punch or hold one in your hand near another one to warp.
Yellow: Stand within a five node radius to protect against attacks from other players.

Added a SkyWorld level at 14400, and will be placing a crystal (blue) warp stone to get there. There will be a ruby (red) warp stone there to get back to spawn, or one could use an emerald (green) warp stone to get back home.
