FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Wow, talk about a sever that's non playable. I tried two times about 30 minutes apart from each. Both times I asked for help but was told I had to place something. While other players are on a one block hole? I hate to say it but I won't be returning here.

does this server has no /spawn command?

Already told you, search for serious servers, this one is clearly not going to last, or at least not for good.
Search for a server with a clear, nice name. With a brief and clear description, and a clean spawn.

@firefox : you haven't searched very much I think :)

@botch : Minetest can be bad in many ways, but here it's just because of the server hoster. Try some other server, like Xanadu, MInetestForFun or OldCoder's servers. Also, if you want some creative you can try VanessaE's ones :)

i can't advertise servers wich i don't play on.
and there are only 3 places on xanadu, where you can get stuck like this.
you can use /spawn to get away, but that doesn't matter here, because you will be dead when you fall into those places.

Unfortunately, that is spawn. One block in a hole...with other players right next to you where you can either just sit there or get killed if someone can back off an arms distance..

My two favorite servers are the T.T. Creative Server and the Xanadu Server. Both are fun to play on and both give different feels when your on it. I'll probably spend a lot of time on the T.T. Creative server tonight.

omg I have to know what the name of that server was. Want to see whats going on there.

It was my server, but is now closed . And now you 're host another my server thanks !!

np. switchboard requested that I host this one for him. Not sure if its the whole map or just a local save. Great server though.
