Curated Serverlist

There are a lot of servers, the aim is highlight friendly good servers which are hidden below those with high player counts.
Note that this disqualifies my server, so I'm not doing this for self-promotion.

I'm looking for more suggestions and reviews, see website link for more info.

Using this serverlist

Add the following to your minetest.conf to use this serverlist:

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
serverlist_url =  minetest.rubenwardy.com/curated

Note that this is for clients, not server owners. Servers won't be able to announce to that URL, instead servers are added by creating reviews for them and submitting them to the git repo.

You can't. I would need to add the server you server to the list by creating a review here: https://github.com/rubenwardy/mt_curati ... ration.tsv

Eventually I'll made it so you don't have to be on the main serverlist to be on this list.

@Jesseman1 Add "server_announce = true" to your minetest.conf file.

I must presume one cannot simply pull-request to that list. What is the due process?

Uhm...hm. Interesting. However, SSDB is missing in the form... .
And... if we have to do pullrequests, why is there a form like for registering a server?
