all process will be taken about 2 hours.

admin got feedback about "items in bag got error" after merge unifield_inventory mod. sorry about it,but dont worry,server has backup to recovery something like this and this situation isnt a big problem.

hi,all.as title. tks for UJE&Juli's cooperation.

now we have armor spacesuit. new marssurvive mod also work with u_skindb mod as before,it means player could have their own skin when take off spacesuit(it's better to change skin in air chamber).

and...tm3,waiting for your NASA/Startrek's texture for spacesuit...haha

Use the below link to see those spacesuit skins in Open MT Database. :)

StarTREK-style's textures of suit(both for md&player) are updated,it only works when juli's armor-suit isnt on. means that armor suit's texture will replace StarTREK's textures.

the command for player to switch to default style suit will be coming soon.

(maybe players out from jail will be forced replacing with prisoner's texture for about 10 minutes?...XD)

admin's demo,and...i got 116 mails..!!!

at my timezone it's 2016/12/31,so i wanna say"HAPPY NEW YEAR" to all.

tks for all players give me many feedback,help me to tweak this game server better.

special tks for our first md yang2003,he helps me to determine the standard rules of this game,the RULES WALL in spawn right is his work.

special tks for our current supervisors juli/tm3,they do much creative work to make this game world more and more convenient for all players.for example,ours first auto-repair-machine comes from tm3's ideas,he handles many Facilities of spawn,juli's space station not only a space station,but also an ISS,have rooms for other players(if they could reach there?..XD).and recently they both complete the spawn's basemant to be a cool travelnet center...etc.

tks juli/tm3 and other player make mars better.

in next year,we will keep working to add new features,make mars more challenge(oh,tm3 pls relax,will be limited in a suitable range),as following are some ideas comes through in my mind.

1)Thirsty: water must be one of the important element in mars,players have to keep their water supply by something like kettle even a Reservoirs.
2)tempture:according to mars,will take effect to something like water(freeze).
3)weather & plant:yes,will according to real world,weather will take effect to more and more plant.
4)technic items & Period of use: all machines will have Period of use,over it will be a chance to function fail.could be repaired,and could be broken.
5)tool repair :the same as 4)
6)Various occupations system:realted to 4~5,all players also could make their item,but Period of use will less than items made from Special person.ex,player with technician skill could make better technic items(more Period of use) than normal players and more sucessfully repair it.
7)hurt/ill:players attack by alien/mobs will have change get hurt(not only lose hp),could be cure in spawn,and skill of medical treatment will be in todo list.
8)player could have only one/two skills.

just ideas,wish could be completely in next new year. any suggestion is welcome.

Seriously, weather effect on tree; less production etc. and putting a barrier in machine working. I guess you are happy with the less amount of player we are getting. (At any amount of given time there are only 1 or 2 max playing :P, though some of them play in different times and we probably have 10 to 15 player as per area count) And some of them even come in and go away seeing the barren land. you will probably get more happy when we get lot less players; after these things take effect xD. Bro, there is a limit to which you should increase difficulty in any survival server esp. in a blocky game like minetest. Minetest is there to build things block by block and if that don't work for player properly even after that due to server settings like those; you are bound to get loss. If someone has to spend 90% of their time building half time working system and survival all the time; i don't understand why they play minetest. Why not play ark survival lol or unturned on steam. They are funny. collect stuff, survive, kill zombies, die and repeat lol. That's what you want ? Minetest like games are meant to tickle your brain to create awesome stuff to showcase (i am not saying its wholly creative; but its more on that side as it is a block by block making game. You can see these trends in those servers which are inclined to such side. E.g., Jungle server, Trump land came recently xD and lol lot of players play there. More players are playing even they don't have pipeworks and technic stuff because things are working and playable rather than half working and lol lot difficult to play, e.g., Xanadu, Switchboard, Liberty land etc.). So, please be careful of what you want to do. We already got a lot of difficulties as it is. 1. We haven't made much structures and areas yet. 2. Air, Aliens, food etc killing you all time. 3. Resources are scarce esp. wood which is the basic of minetest itself to make anything, water, soil etc. :) And don't blame me afterwards that i didn't warn you before hand. We already are experiencing trouble with players count. Don't make it too harsh. :)

relaxed, just ideas...XD. tks for your feedback,you are right.

you know i had a version that marsu with 3d-armor,but it's still in my local pc,never published.in fact,my plan for these days will be improving about the sky,more real,not only "color dots".and maybe the rarely lump(like copper) could be mined in Meteorites of space(so players have to know juli's ISS or other players).

maybe more hash,but will be only in single-player's version,it means marsu-game will have 2 branches in future,server&singleplayer.after watching movies "Interstellar", i think it's not bad to live lonely in other planet.

command:
1. /leavemsg <MESSAGE> : leave messages to others.
2. /chkmsg <NAME> : read messages leaved by <NAME>

ps.i think i'll need these commands,so i make it and leaved first msg to all, "/chkmsg admin" will show my msg...XD. now only text,maybe will be in UI in furture.

lag is sometimes > 1 but not often.
And can u please answer our mails sometimes? :)
Or better join the game? (maybe one time in week would be great, for example saturday,
if u can't join u can maybe join irc for a moment or so?)

and here some changes which would be great:
- add scifi-nodes
- let meseblocks be generated under -5000 or so
- make farming_plus plants so that u can get them by digging junglegrass or so
- remove the mobs-mod because we don't need it

tks,juli. besides my caught cold&busy,these days are during "chinese traditional new year",so i could have only few time to read mail/post these days after five days .
1)scifi-nodes is okey,the problem is not about xpanes.lua,it's no any recipe in it.so you could not use it from uni-inventory(except you are admin or do some hack).maybe it's better to make recipes for it?(i'll do it after about 5days)
2)you are right,i'll check it.

4)mobs-mod is related to npc_trader(if my menmory is correct),but i agree your opioin,i'll check what APIs are used for npc_trader, and added into code of npc_trader.

Aaaand I see broken HUD again on that screenshot on first post. Server owners, please stop using Blockmen hud&hunger mod, it is broken, outdated and not supported anymore. Here is another alternative: viewtopic.php?t=11153
