This server has very low server lag, if you still have lag, then it is very probably because of your far location from server or other causes on your side. If you live in Europe and server is in USA... network lag will be noticeable (sometimes a lot), Europe to North America ping for me starts at 180ms, EU to South America/Asia at 300 ms, thats considered as huge latency. My ping to this server is 180ms currently, thats no-go for any multiplayer shooting action, but acceptable/playable for minetest.

That much lag? When I was playing on JT1, which was hosted in EU (I think), I didn't notice any lag. I live in the US.

Since somebody thought it would be cute to try to ban me from my own server while I was having a discussion with someone about an administrative issue, I have taken JT2 offline for 24 hours. Do not ever try to do something like that again.

I am now removing the vote-to-ban feature for continued abuse by players that have no authority to be banning people.

It is good Idea to remove vote. Democratic is for the People they can read and no only type /y. But it will be nice to add some mods. I would like to have /tpr /tpy /sethome /home and elevator for the easy mining.
What about West Road/Rail at 125 North? Can I take it form u and expand or u can share protection from my house (intersection included) to the end?

Just a few quick updates.

I reduced the rate of hunger and increased the fresh time of bones. That should make survival a bit easier. I also raised the satiation level of bread and apples. And by popular request, I'm going to add watermelon and pumpkins as edibles as well. So expect more variety when it comes to farming!

In other news, I finally added a protection wand as promised. Now searching for protected areas is a breeze (and much less expensive).



I'm sure some of you noticed that I switched up the crafting recipe for protection blocks too. I wanted to make it consistent with protection badges. I realize a lot of players have way more steel ingots than they know what to do with. This is another practical use for them ;)

I finally finished integrating all of the antigrief routines with the city_block mod, so the handling of TNT, buckets of water, and buckets of lava is now far more secure.

- cannot be placed above -500m.
- cannot be placed within the boundaries of a city block.

Was just on this server, and I ran out of food and died of hunger as I'm just getting started. So anyways, I die of hunger, and I get sent to jail! Seriously, WTH! Anyways, it seems as though something is messed up.

With that in mind, how do you get food?
