FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Hi Everyone,
I'm working a Player-vs-Player server, and I need some advise on mods to install/things to set up. In particular, how would I be able to save/reset the map? Also, can I set up chests to randomly spawn, with items (a sword, for example.) Thanks! :)

See ctf_match in capturetheflag. minetest.deleteblocks
Also see worldedit for saving things

I'm listening with interest what you are writing. I have a map, that was planned to have something like Bedwars. But didn't have time to care about it.

If anyone wants the map with some flying islands to mine for material. ... just call me ;-)

Well, sorry ... I updated my computer and wanted to save my old worlds ... but I think I deleted all by error. At the moment I'm preparing a server for other purposes ... may be I'll do it later again. Learned more tricks to do it faster than before ;-)
