I think the No mercy law was better. Now people come to this server with the concept "Ok, I can take or destroy everything I want two times for free. If I do that a third time, then I'll be banned."

I agree. Without the "No-Mercy" Law. I will not be coming back to this server. It is totally becoming griefed like no other server. I have built many things on this server. For example: I did a huge chunk of wall around Desert City.
I really want the No Mercy Law.

Good, 4 posts in row about "No mercy law", and mine is 5th.

2 more posts (do not have to be consecutive) and I will restore the old law, permanently.

Why don't you just protect your stuff so they don't get griefed? I don't really completely understand these law systems you talk about, but if there will be less griefing, then I vote for No Mercy Law too.

Why? Because we can't protect all roads and other too big and shapeless structures, like Smoki's rails.

I +1 the no-mercy law.
Resources are abundant; only money is scarce. People should not have to work hard and remain poor just to pay for the needs of survival.
Society can thrive without money - but only if productive members of society are rewarded for being productive.

I think I also will vote for 'No mercy' law.
I disagree with your real-life parallels, Cactuz. I prefere more liberal systems for the variety of reasons. But for one, here we can determine the guilt with much bigger certanity then any actual law enforcement organisation. Also, ban is much less then any legal punishment and is more like retraction of friendship. Nobody can prohibit a person from being selective in his friends. And people who care about someone's company or friendship should have better sense then stealing his things or spoiling his work/games.

Decided, from now on be the "No mercy law".

Basics:
From now, every confirmed greif will be punish by ban.

Excuses such as:
- "Someone hack into my account and greifed."
- "My friend greifed played using my account."
Will not be taken into account.

You are responsible for your own accounts. Keep your passwords safe, don't share them. If someone greif using your account that's only your fault and your account will be banned for that.

Griefing is part of the game, deal with it. We do need better protection systems, but banning someone permanently for removing a few blocks is not a good idea, it'll only delete potential players.

I wouldn't ban someone who stole 4-5 blocks, but if he do it repeatedly, I will. True, this is the removal of potential players, but also keeping old players. It is better to create new things than repair old.

Odd bug in a mineshaft/cave of mine. Happened upon triggering a massive lode of gravel falling onto the ground. They look like shrooms...and this shall be the location of my underground base.
Also, Webdesigner97 relogged upon lagging, and was re-incarnated as a gravel-cube:

But please let me keep the mushroom/hand things, even though they are the result of a bug. They look cute.

This is a bug in the engine that has been supposedly fixed in latest git.
Redcrab will have to update the server.
