Now that I think about it, the easiest way to make the built-in wool work, requiring the least amount of code and sticking to what people are used to, would be if someone would copy out the recipes from Jordach's old wool mod, edit them to work with the built-in wool, and distribute them as a small independent mod that just supplies those recipes. That way it can be simply deleted outright when it is no longer needed.

One would need to modify the recipe for cyan wool (before, it used jungle trees. Maybe use regular apple wood now or something).

Redcrab, please install Jordach's "woolcraft" mod. This will provide a fix for the broken/missing wool recipes (puts the crafting of wool back the way we all got used to, with a couple of minor differences to keep up with changes in the game).

I've played on gameboom long enough to know why people seem to not like that server, and I've played on singleplayer with some cool mods, but I need both multiplayer and good mods. You have some I don't know how to use. I would like to build on this redcrab server. (ask around, if I have any reputation at all it's a good reputation)

First you'll have to register here at the minetest forum. Then go to the server, set a password come back here, log in under your minetest forum name and ask redcrab or CactuzPL for privs. Write down exactly your ingame name (can be different from your minetest forum name).
