Server on Local Network

by timmc » Wed Jun 20, 2012 06:02

I have an AirPort Extreme with a Hard Drive attached to it on my local home network, and would like to host a Minetest Server locally for just my home network. It seems like I should be able to put the files on the drive and let anyone login to the server as long as the drive is on the network. Is this possible? If so, how should I go about doing it?
Minetest 0.4.dev -- Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

This won't work; the server needs to run and it needs to accept connections on port 30000 UDP (which is the default), it would also need a decent CPU and RAM.
