There are quite a few mods installed; I recommend you disable "preload item visuals" to connect. It can make the difference between over a minute and a few seconds to connect.

The server is freebuild, not creative; I will only /give materials if you are griefed and rollback fails. I will not give fly or other special privs. Money is installed, so players can buy and sell materials.

New Player Privs: interact, shout, fast, money
Moderator Privs: + ban, basic_privs, money_admin, rollback
Moderators are not special privileged players. They do not have teleport, fly, or give. Their extra privs are only for keeping order.

Grief Protection:

• Protector mod is installed, they can be gotten for free from the teleport in the spawning room.
• I am working on another, more versatile ownership mod to replace or accompany protector.
• Rollbacks and backups will be used.

Rules:

• No modifying other's structures without their permission.
• No strong language or excessive caps lock.
• No 1x1 pillars or other randomly placed blocks.
• Flying structures must be higher than y=100 (so they don't leave annoying shadows)
• Flying structures must not be over spawn (so they don't interfere with minetestmapper)
• You can only enforce local rules in areas you have claimed.
• No stripping the sand off of beaches; mine it off the sea floor instead.

You may find you have interact or shout revoked and some of your actions rolled back if you cause any damage. If it was accidental you can ask for them back here, and be more careful next time.

xslabs? I can't find that, could you post a link? And madblocks is a huuuge collection of stuff, I don't really want to install all of it. I could try to split some parts of it out to use, though.

I've set up the computer that I can run 24/7, I'll switch it over sometime tomorrow. Then it will be running "for real". It will probably have a fresh world, and starting then, registration will be required for build privs. As some building has been done on the current testing world, if I don't use it I might put it up for download. I will register current players and moderators, with the privs described in the first post. It can now be accessed at the address menche.servegame.com.

Ok, the transfer to the new computer is done. I have transfered the old map and players after all, privs have been changed to those described in the first post.

Ricochet and ACDC s the same person

ACDC is banned. I don't know if he is Ricochet, but I know that both have griefed the same building. Also, he logged on suspiciously soon after a player named "FuckKeegan4" joined and left. Usernames like that aren't allowed.
Also, moderators, whenever you ban someone, could you post here who and why?

Registration is now required for build privs. You must have a forum account and ask for yourself, It seems griefers may have been using legitimate players' names.

The map was reverted to its state as of sometime yesterday. All players have to start over from scratch, due to some griefing scum who was using other players' usernames. Sorry, convey your feelings to ACDC, Landmine, or Ricochet if you don't like it. The Max and Milleja48 who griefed were not actually those players. Build privs now require registration, you MUST use a forum account and ask for yourself, give your chosen username in your request, and have a password set.

It's WORLDedit, not mapedit. This is what you do:
1. Identify two corners of the region you want to fill, or just note the corners
2. Say ''//p set'' and hit the two corners
3. say ''//set modname:blockname'' (ex. default:cobble or default:lava_source) to set the blocks all to the type you want
Example: you want to fill a 5x5 region 1 block high. say //p set, hit the top-left and the bottom-right corners, say //set default:lava_source and you have a 5x5 pool of lava.
