I can't connect to any servers. When i try to connect to a server it takes forever and never connects. How do i fix this?

Servers can usually take a long time to load. Exspecially if it's a big server with lot's of players on it. Just be patient & let the server
load if it hasn't been loading for a while go find a server with less lag when your trying to connect. Sometimes iv'e had to wait a long
time too. Or you could make your own server but then that can be complicated if your not sure what to do. I hope i helped you out

Check your firewall, disable it or allow Minetest - 99% of home routers have firewalls anyway.

Is it pausing on the "Connecting to server" screen for you too? -_- I had just found a great survival server too! now I can't join any server! UGH!!!!!!

Here are my tips
Do not log in with a guest name, such as *Guest6049*
Also, try waiting at least 5 minutes

I wouldn't bother.

I haven't timed it, but I think connections to my server time out after 5 minutes or so (I don't know if this is controllable by a setting). So waiting more than 5 minutes is pointless.

Mine connects to any server *completely* faster than opening a singleplayer game.
